Red Tents are a sacred place for women to learn about the Feminine Mysteries: The life stages of a woman- Maiden, Mother, Matriarch, Grandmother, Wise Elder [Crone] and the sacred ‘power’ and ‘wisdom’ of each as well as the inter-relationship between them and how you learn from these aspects of yourself.

There is a magical intimacy that happens when women gather to learn, share and grow. When a woman shares in the circle, there is something that is healed within each of the women present. As we gather in Sacred Circle each day, we will discover, explore & experience the alchemy of feminine wisdom and the transformative process.

As a group, we create a space that is safe, trusting, & encouraging where you can stand in your power to create lasting change in your life. Women have been gathering together in Sacred Circles for eons. A Sacred Woman’s Circle is a venerated space where we share openly to progress on our personal paths through sacred speaking and teaching.

This is foundational and imperative in your spiritual evolution. Community is part of the human experience and Sacred Circles are our birthright. No matter where you are on your Journey, there is a place for you here in the circle.

Montezuma Castle National Monument and Montezuma Well where we will connect with the land and the lineage of the land. Built by the Sinagua tribe approximately 900 years ago. The Sinagua peoples disappeared and are believed to be the ancestors of the Hopi. While we are here we will also visit the welcome center in Verde Valley where archeological artifacts. (This is a 6 hour tour and includes a picnic lunch on site.)
A guided Hike in the Red Rock Mountains right outside our hotel. Yes we will be looking through an entirely different lense on this outing.
We will be visiting Angel Valley for A Vortex Tour– what trip to Sedona would be complete without this? Of course there’s so much more to it than a tour, you must come to experience it for yourself. While we are on site we will also be doing a group ceremony Labyrinth Walk. There will also be time for sacred self contemplation, reflection and meditation at one of the other offerings that the Nu Lemurian Heart Center of Sedona in Angel Valley has to offer such as an Ancestor’s or Medicine Wheel, Angel Wheel, Heart Circle, or one of the marked vortex sites! (This is a full day and includes a picnic lunch on site.)
On the lighter side, we will also be experiencing modern-day Sedona by visiting the unique art galleries, boutiques and dining in the nearby, walking distance, village of Tlaquepaque (“T-la-keh-pah-keh”), which means the best of everything.

Of course, you will have some down time to enjoy the hotel’s hot tub, swimming pool and fitness center if you’d like also. While not an excursion our hotel, The Sky Rock Inn of Sedona, is set amongst the gorgeous landscape of the Red Rocks.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is your Covid-19 refund policy?

In the event that Covid-19 protocols in Sedona interferes, the retreat will be rescheduled for a later date when travel to Sedona is possible. For example Sedona is under lockdown there would be the option of either crediting 100% of the amount toward the rescheduled retreat, a future retreat or a full refund. Again, all monies: payments and refunds are through Journeys of the Spirit. Refund time is 2-3 weeks based on your bank/credit card company.

No refund is given if the participant is contracting the virus and can’t attend the retreat in which case travel insurance would cover. It is important to confirm with the travel insurance provider that Covid-19 related issues are covered and to what extent.

Upon registering you will, of course receive a copy of the terms & conditions.

What is your refund policy?

If you cancel before 30 days prior to our trip start date, Journeys of the Spirit will refund 50% unless you find a replacement. This does not include any portion of the deposit. If you do not find a replacement, your deposit will be forfeited. No refunds if you cancel later than 30 days prior to our trip start date.

We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum of 5, and your funds are fully refundable if this occurs.

*Refunds take approximately 2-3 weeks based on your bank and credit card company and come from Journeys of the Spirit, not Crystal Cockerham or Wisdom Awakens, LLC.

Do I have to share a room?

No, you do not have to share a room. Single occupancy is available at time of registration for an additional fee.

What if I have food sensitivities/allergies?

No worries, so do I! Every effort will be made to accommodate you and your dietary restrictions.

Which airport do I fly into and how do I get to the Sky Rock Inn?
